]]>Radio Boise’s signal is listener funded and people powered! All because of listeners and supporters like you – THANK YOU!! Radio Boise is proud to be A Voice For You.
Over the last couple weeks of our Spring Radiothon, we’ve received so much support from our listening community. In the world of radio, it’s very rare that a station like ours can continue to provide a free-form, corporate-free, and an algorithm-less broadcast to our listeners.
Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for putting in their time and thank you to all of our listeners for giving what you can!
THANK YOU for showing up for your community radio station. Radio Boise is proud to be a listener funded and people powered station for Boise and beyond!
Together, we’ve raised over $68k to keep a platform available to EVERYONE in our city. Considering our goal of $72k, there’s never a bad time to donate to Radio Boise. We’ll be one amongst many incredible causes you can contribute to during Idaho Gives, which starts April 28th! Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming events and, as always, keep it locked on 89.9/93.5fm!
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming!
Please consider donating today at the link below for Idaho Gives!

]]>With three singer songwriters being featured live in the cozy atmosphere of Tiner’s Alley and heard over the airwaves on 89.9/93.5. This showcase is open to the public and will surely be a great way to ease in to that last day of Treefort!
Tiner’s Alley is located at 1010 W Main St Suite 101, Boise, ID 83702
São Paulo natives, Johnny Franco and his Real Brother Dom, are shaking up the Portland, Oregon music scene with their charm and charisma. Serving up 5 day weekends every week, no stage is too big or too small for their iconic and hilarious brand of entertainment — including but not limited to songs.
The duo was signed by producer Sterling Fox (Lana Del Rey, Elle King) on his label Blanket Fort in 2020. Johnny’s debut EP “Experience Report #1” feels timeless with singles like “Immediate Love”. It combines sophisticated lyricism and original vocal stylings with a unique jangly Brazilian beat. The duo was featured on Treefort 2022, Jam in the Van 2022, and Pickathon 2024. Their humorous delivery of crowd-favorite originals like “Ones and Pennies” and “Cucumber Vodka” along with a unique interpretation of the classics produce an irresistible urge to move, to laugh, to cry and to applaud.
Hailing from the Northeastern states, Tyler John Kraehling has been traveling through the country with eyes open, taking stock of the lives of the people who inhabit it. Drenched in the tradition of American troubadours, he tells stories that speak to the novelties and banalities of what it means to walk this earth. Living everywhere from Los Angeles, New York City, Idaho, Vermont, Texas and most recently Montana, he boasts a claim that he is in a unique company of travelers who are qualified to tell the stories they do, with the universe of detail they do. His fingerpicking styles range from the folk staples of John Prine and Townes Van Zandt to the country-blues of legends Furry Lewis, Taj Mahal and Chris Smither. Armed with songs that will make you feel the full spectrum of emotion, and with clothes and guitars that are mostly second-hand; his songs are anything but.

]]>Due to unforseen circumstances, the Grateful benefit concert on March 8th has been postponed. We’ve rescheduled for July 12th at Shrine Social Club!
Join us at Shrine Social Club for a ramblin’ good time. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm. Be a friend of the devil (and KRBX), and jam out to Grateful Dead tunes for a good cause.
All proceeds from this show go directly to helping Radio Boise stay alive and well, supporting programming and operations in 2025. Tickets are $25 .
Ticket link is live, and limited tickets are available–get yours today!
With Grateful, each performance is arranged with the intent to capture the natural authenticity of the Grateful Dead’s live performance, and “perfectly flawed” delivery in sound, style, and feel. No set list is the same, and no song is played the same way twice.
Tickets are on sale now, and all proceeds go directly to supporting Radio Boise programming and operations. Keep on Truckin’ and we’ll see you there!
